Events

Probus provides retirees with the opportunity to connect through regular meetings & activities, depending on their interests, lifestyle and location.

The Buderim Mountain Probus Group organises the following activities:

​

• Monthly meeting, with guest speaker & lucky door prizes

• Coffee morning at Goodlife on the 3rd Tuesday of the month

• Walking group on the last Wednesday of the month in various locations, includes a morning tea stop 

• Board Games on the 1st Wednesday of the month

• Golf every Friday after the General Meeting and last Tuesday of the month at Glenview, par 3. Our members also play a practice round every other Tuesday except after the General Meeting.

• Annual Australia Day Barbecue at The Spit, Mooloolaba

There are also various other outings, as organised by members. Examples from 2025 include Buderim Pioneer Cottage visit, watching the Full Moon rising followed by dinner, Wappa Dam Picnic, Tafe College Degustation Lunch, See Restaurant Lunch, musical concerts at Caloundra Events Centre and at Qpac in Brisbane. Currently we have planned for 2026 a riverboat cruise in Adelaide and many concerts.
